OMAG Stick Pack Packaging Systems

OMAG stick pack machines provide fully automatic packaging for liquids, powders, granules, creams, pastes, and solid products. Available in configurations from 1–20 lanes, these systems deliver high-speed, accurate filling with customizable stick formats and seamless integration with downstream packaging automation. OMAG Sachet Packaging Systems

OMAG C3 Series

A continuous-motion vertical packaging system designed for high-speed production of 4-side seal sachets, offering reliable performance and efficient operation across a wide range of applications.

OMAG CP Series

An intermittent-motion packaging system that temporarily pauses the film during forming and filling, using specialized sealing plates to produce premium sachets. This design is ideal for applications requiring exceptional aesthetics, complex sachet shapes, and specialized product formats.

Machine Features

Product Preparation

Accurate filling starts with proper product preparation. The right feeding and conditioning system ensures a consistent product flow while reducing waste and minimizing overfill.

Depending on the product characteristics, systems may include:

Filling

OMAG offers a range of dosing and product insertion technologies to accommodate a wide variety of products and applications.

Free-Flowing Powders
Volumetric dosing cups provide fast, repeatable filling for free-flowing powders and granules.

Powders & Cohesive Products
Servo-driven auger fillers provide precise dosing for products requiring greater accuracy. Auger designs can be customized to product characteristics and may include anti-dribble shutoff systems.

Liquids, Creams & Pastes
Piston pumps, sanitary valve pumps, rotary valve pumps, and other integrated pumping systems can be used for accurate filling of liquid and viscous products. Servo-controlled diving nozzles help maintain clean sealing surfaces during filling.

Product Insertion
OMAG systems can also insert products directly into stick packs, including tablets, capsules, pills, vials, medical devices, and electronic components. Systems can be configured for single or multiple product insertion depending on the application.

Stick Forming & Sealing

Packaging film is formed into individual tubes before filling and sealed according to the desired package format. Available sealing styles include center seal, side seal (3-sided sachet), and lap seal.

Top and bottom seals are formed simultaneously to provide consistent package integrity. A wide range of finishing options are available, including straight, zig-zag, angled, and easy-open cuts, perforations, rounded corners, bottle-shaped formats, spouts, and custom die-cut designs.

OMAG systems can be configured to produce a wide variety of stick pack shapes and dimensions to meet product, branding, and marketing requirements.

Coding

A variety of coding technologies are available depending on production requirements.

Options include:

Inkjet coding
Thermal transfer printing
Laser coding

Laser systems are ideal for high-output multi-lane machines, offering maintenance-free operation with no consumables while providing precise coding across multiple lanes.

Downstream Automation

OMAG stick pack systems can be integrated with a range of downstream packaging solutions to create a complete automated line. Depending on production requirements, finished stick packs can be collected in bulk, conveyed for manual packing assistance, or automatically counted, grouped, and transferred for further packaging.
