Syringes come in all shapes, sizes, materials, and packaging configurations, serving a wide range of industries and applications.
Have a syringe that needs filling? Wondering if we can automate the process?
Let’s break down the different syringe types and see what we can do for you.
YES – Small-Batch Sterile Syringes
Sterile, nested, or ready-to-use (RTU) syringes supplied in tubs with Tyvek coverings.
Our solution: The Litek robotic gloveless filling system, operating within an isolator.
-
Ideal for small batches and low-speed applications
-
Filling speeds of approximately 10 syringes per minute
YES – Top-Filled Glass Syringes
Glass syringes filled from the top, requiring plunger insertion, with syringes presented manually.
Our solutions:
-
Manual filling and sealing within a Litek isolator, under laminar airflow (LAF), or in a restricted access barrier system (RABS)
-
AbleBlock system with manual syringe presentation from tubs and vacuum-assisted plunger insertion
Speed: Up to approximately 20 syringes per minute, depending on the configuration.
YES – Top-Filled Plastic Syringes
Plastic syringes supplied randomly in bulk, filled from the top, and requiring vacuum stoppering or bleed-pin insertion to remove trapped air.
Our solution: The AbleBlock system, with the possibility of automatic syringe feeding.
Suitable for applications that may require terminal sterilization.
YES – Bottom-Filled Plastic Syringes
Plastic syringes supplied in bulk, filled through the outlet, and requiring capping or Luer-fitting closure.
Our solutions:
-
Custom AbleBlock configurations
-
TGM filling machines, including the E250 and S400 models
Applications may include animal health products, chemicals, cyanoacrylate adhesives (super glue), and epoxies.
YES – Double-Barrel Plastic Syringes
Double-barrel plastic syringes supplied in bulk, filled through the outlets, and requiring capping or closure.
Our solutions:
-
Custom AbleBlock configurations
-
TGM filling machines, including the E250 and S400 models
